These Chocolate & Coconut No Bake Bars make a great addition to your child’s lunchbox. They only take a few minutes to make and one hour to set in the freezer.
These no bake bars are a really perfect addition to put in your child’s lunchbox. There are no nuts and no nasty additives! Plus they are also gluten, dairy, egg and refined sugar free.
They are really easy to make as well, so you can whip up a batch pretty quickly. You can also make these in your Thermomix, which I have included the method below for you

Nut Free Chocolate & Coconut No Bake Bars
Nut Free Chocolate & Coconut No Bake Bars. They make a great addition to your child's lunchbox. They only take a few minutes to make and one hour to set in the freezer.
Ingredients
- 13 ย medjool dates, pitted
- 2 cups shredded coconut
- 1/3 cup raw cacao powder
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a food processor or high speed blender and process until it resembles fine crumbs and sticks together when pressed. Spoon mixture into a lined slice tin and press down and smooth with the back of a spoon. Place it in the freezer to set for 1 hour or until firm.
- Then remove from the freezer and cut into desired portions and storm in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
The cook time does not include the time is takes for these bars to firm up in the freezer.

Nut Free Chocolate & Coconut No Bake Bars. They make a great addition to your child's lunchbox. They only take a few minutes to make and one hour to set in the freezer.
Ingredients
- 13 ย medjool dates, pitted
- 140 grams shredded coconut
- 35 grams raw cacao powder
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to the mixing bowl and process for 10 seconds/speed 7
- Spoon mixture into a lined slice tin and press down and smooth with the back of a spoon. Place it in the freezer to set for 1 hour or until firm.
- Then remove from the freezer and cut into desired portions and storm in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

The cook time does not include the time is takes for the slice to firm up in the freezer.
